Im told I need new injectors in my 2000 Ford Dually, 7.3. As well I need harness and injector module. 140K miles. Had problems in past. Replaced PCM (Not ECM) this year and took care of unpredictable stalling for a while.
Can I buy QUALITY injectors online or are they much cheaper for a reason???? I have seen them for as little as $130 online (with a very scary core policy), compared to new at International dealer for $275. Thats over $1100 cheaper. I appreciate getting clarity on this confusing topic.
Dealer wants over $5000 for job. Aint happenin'. THANK YOU!!!!
You do need two watch who built or rebuilt the injectors. If you can find out who the big companies like BD, Bully Dog, and edge are using, that would be a good place to start with finding name brands.
All Diesel, you need to come down to the 99-03 7.3 forums and ask this question. The preferred injector for stock size (not going to bigger injectors for more power) are NEW Alliant injectors. Rebuilds can be problematic, but there are some very good injector rebuilders out there who are reputable. Bean's Diesel, Total Diesel Performance, Ryan Casserly all build good injectors (I think Ryan Casserly builds the injectors for Bean's).

Ryan set out on his own at Full Force Diesel. He used to make them for Bean and for Matt. I have a set of his tow injectors that he while he did injectors for Matt. Ryan is a really good guy to work with, of course, I'm lucky in the fact that he is local(more local then Bean, although you could say he is local to me as well).
