BFG Mud Terrains
I have recently heard that the BFG muds have a short tread life, i have never heard this before, is this true? I think the tread life for the All Terrian is 70,000, are the muds close to that?

I worked in a tire store for about two years and the all terrains usually got between 45-55000 miles,,,i did see a couple pairs that made 70000 and even one pair that made 95000 on a F-250. The guy rotated them every 3000 miles and drove all highway miles. The mud terrains aren't going to last quite as long as they have a softer compound. I usually saw 35-50000 miles on them. mine have 8000 miles and have only lost 2/32 of tread on the front. The back i got a little stupid with and burned about 5/32 off. That was my fault though. Oops. I do believe the tires are well worth their money. I've had both the all terrains and the mud terrains and won't go back to all terrains. I'd rather change them six monthes sooner.
