I see your badge says in need of a good sponsor. If you don't already have an oil sponsor I might be able to hook you up with mine. If your interested PM me and I will dig up there contact info.
Brandon knows what he is doing. You should take him up on his offer.
Yeah, he has stuck out as a common sounding board for tons of stuff. I would be happy to have his help. Mainly it has to be someone who has experience in the listed mods and troubleshooting them and can handle my ****-retentive need to make everything just right when I work on stuff. Im not a throw it together type of person when it comes to stuff like this. Whoever it is also has to be willing to have me looking over there shoulder at times to learn and ask newbie questions. In exchange you will get to experience Southern Oregon and our proudly redneck ways. Hopefully time will permit getting out and maybe shooting, or wheeling in the snow or something. Anywho, if Brandon is willing I am proud to learn from one of the many well versed 7.3 guru's. Anyone else is welcome to volunteer also, I'm sure we could flip a coin or something

All I ask is that you want to learn, and will try. I dont like working on someone elses truck just for the sake of doing it, but, if the owner has a genuine want to learn attitude then I am more than glad to help. IOW if you fly me up there for a couple of days then its going to be for TWO guys working on a truck. Me and you, not just me.
Do you have tools?
Oh, and by the way, If I find out you are flying me up there to sell me into the russian sex slave trade, then I ll have to pass, the South Americans already have dibs on me

Damn! And with the price of corn fed southern boys being so high in Russia this time of year too Yeah, honestly I prefer to work on the truck myself with your instruction. I am pretty mechanical, I work on my 450R including cam swap by myself. I have a mix of almost all common hand tools, Snap-on and craftsman, and a new snap-on digital torque wrench. Only thing I might need are specialty tools, let me know.
O.K. then, we are understood.
Next question: 450R + Oil Sponsorship = competitive dirt rider?
I was until I broke my wrist and ripped a tendon off the bone. Had to have a screw put in my wrist and therapy. My oil sponsor was such a great guy that even though I got married and the wife won't pet me race he still lets me use my sponsorship. I am a jack of many trades and a master of none; I raced dirt bikes, ride quads at the coast, have my pilots license, certified advaced diver, love wheeling, ride sportbikes, love and practice my right to bear arms

In other words just a good ol boy, like the rest of us. We ought to get along just fine.
I'm a little slow tonight cause I'm on my iPhone at the sister in-laws watching there 2 sets of twins. Anyway, just thought I would thow out there, since tons of people are reading this, that I am in no way rich bitch trying tohire in a mechanic. I just figure with knowlegeable help I can nock it out and not waste time and money. Just wanted to say that since I'm new and someone may get the wrong impression. Plus, I have to have my PSD kicking *** for the trip to the dunes this summer. My buddy thinks I made a big mistake buying a Ford and says that his 2000 cummins will eat me up. So I have to get my A game started

Was lucky enough to race the YZ-450F best one out for the 05-06 season IMO. But when it comes to quads, the 06-07 TRX 450er is the only way to go and can prove it from working on both the yami and it. You?
so right now we are waiting on some money to come in, and then some parts to be ordered and shipped, and the holidays to go by. Ill send you a PM , and you can call me tomorrow, and we can work out some details. Ill have to double check my sales meeting schedule, I do have one weekend in Jan that I cant go.
