you would think after how many people have fried their engines trying to hover over the water rather than drive through it that some of these turds would learn "WATER IN ENGINE NOT GOOD!?"

hmmm...
Sand and water..... Not something i usually like to play in....

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE, the water is moving across the sand... HMMM......

I would bet thats deep. Sand isnt exactly known to stay in one place, especially with running water.

Thats not a jeep, its an SUV. hehehe

I didn't think the water looked that deep to get stuck in and usually wet sand is a much better surface for grip unlike the black clays & muck we run down here.

Yea just wet sand is ok, but sand and water together not so good. Basically like quicksand, and water running across sand another thing that i stay away from.

That's typical....People watch all the "cool" jeep commercials, then they buy a brand new Jeep and since it says "Jeep" on the back they think its like frickin unstoppable and can go anywhere.

I see this crap all the time...funny as hell.

i dont think its that funny, its kinda sad. these are the kinda people who really need someone to teach them what they can and cant do offroad. i would have been funny if he knew he was going to kill the truck, but thats not how it looks to me. all he had to do was get out, and check to see how deep the water was. how hard is that?

sorry.

These folks are lucky that it was just their precious vehicle they hosed. Driving across moving water, that could be deeper than your vehicle is capable of crossing, can KILL you. The majority of flood deaths happen in vehicles. Even the little computerized voice on the weather radio says "Turn around, don't drown."

These people don't need lessons; they need bus passes.

Hubby always tells everyone that that's my job............

I can tell him just fine in the passenger seat if we're going for it or not, of course he doesn't always listen to me. Our friends know when we come on the CB with that one special word, not to follow our chosen path. (Submarine)

That Jeep might have made it if they would have went slower. I had stock f150s that far under water and walked right out of it.
