Not gona happen. At least not cheap and not a whole lot of power. Get an ATS turbo kit, Abit over $2,000 Some ARP head studs $600, DPS stage injectors $300 an ijection pump to match $500, A pyromitor 125 bucks, And run your timming a bit advanced. And it still wont be the fastest thing on the block but it will be quick. All this is assuming that the engine is still in good enough shape to take a turbo. If you just want a bit more power buy a pyrometer put it in the exaust manifold and turn up the fule screw and avance the timing using the pyro to make sure you keep it in a safe area. Also you can cut the soup bowl out of the aircleaner. Removing the mufler would help but on an N/a engine it will be quite loud. You could also make a low buck ram air intake for it.
The guy already knocked the price down from $2500 on the 360.
Or, go for the gold, and get a DT466. I know of one in Stockton for 1000. It was going to be for me, but I can't buy it now.
It has about 160k, it was in a Penske moving van. A 95 IH 4700, and has a P-pump. It was brought in by the owner, and he said he thought it had some sort of engine problem. I checked it over, and didnt see anything wrong with it. The oil was a typical black diesel truck, black. No water, or any signs of anything else in the oil. No oil in the radiator surge tank. They took a couple parts off here & there, like the alt. and a couple fittings from the air gov.
He's giving me until Jan 31st to come up with the kash. I've been trying to get it since September, but the "other half" makes sure I'm broke all the time.
