I got a 4x4 E-250 van from 1980. I need some sheetmetal parts for the body to get it back on the road. Anybody know any good parts sources. Need floor pan parts and rockerpanels.
The best thing to do is find a local junkyard that still has a few that are in good shape body wise. Get all the removable panels you need then buy one whole one for the other parts you need to cut out. It's a lot easier and cheaper in the long run.
Sorry. Don't know. Also just remembered mine's an 81. But try to get a hold of the guy at pathfinder-vans . If you search Pathfinder Quadravan on google it is the first one up. Good luck!
Hi Bill,Id like to ask a question of you please.I aquired a 79 Quad van ,Body is junk.Do you know what years the bodies are interchangeable, considering wheel base etc...Im in the high Desert and never find them local. Its normally an 1 1/2 to go out out and make all the measurments since the donor owners do not have a clue. Thanks you in advance.Im hoping to swap a camper conversion onto the chasis.
I think its 75 through 92 that are the same. I don't know if the later vans fit on the fram as well, but the bodies are different. Of course the interiors changed a bit from the seventies. I swapped an 88 on my frame.
I dont know nothing about 4x4 vans but I have a 91 e 150 with a near perfect body and low milage 5.0 ,my question is ,can you just mount the body on to a f150 4x4 frame of the same year or would it be easer to just find the parts and mount them to the vans frame?
