Clutch fork question
I have an 88 F150 that I am changing over to a 4 speed standard. The donor was an 83 with mechanical linkage and the 88 has hydraulic. Anyone know if the fork from the mechanical will work? It seems to be very close, one having the ball on the fork and the other it is in the bell housing. I have fitted it and it all seems OK but don't have it installed yet. Anyone done this?
