Yes all the aluminum is real. Dash, steering wheel and center console all have some on it.

Good to hear. I've read about it of course, but I have yet to see a Platinum in person to confirm it. Glad to see Ford is moving away somewhat from using plastic painted silver and instead using the real thing. The redesigned Mustang also is like this. Can't wait to see how Ford spreads their new way of doing the interiors to the rest of the lineup.

Did anyone else notice the widow sticker lists the mirrors as:

CHROME PWR FLD HTD SIGNAL MIRR

You might want to check the owners manual? Maybe they really are power fold?

Yeah they are just the normal platinum mirrors with the chrome skull caps, power fold, heated with single lights.

Not the Tow Mirrors?

It does seem odd that the larger mirrors wouldn't PWR FLD?

Nope not tow mirrors. They only come with the 3.73 rear end. They are the same size as the tow mirrors but without the lower mirror.

Ford for sure messed up on not making the bigger mirrors power fold. Not as important on the smaller ones. Truck was purchased from Haldeman in Allentown PA.
