4x4 Part Number
Freinds...my 4x4 transfer case shift motor quit working and is dead. Can someone provide me a part number for what I need? Details are below....
1999a F250 Superduty
7.3L PSD
4x4
Extended Cab
Long bed
Stock except for gauges
Do you all need anything else to get me the right part number? I am trying to find a new one on line.

I don't know if you are intrested or not, but that shift motor is just a DC electric motor. I had one go bad on a Bronco which I think is the same motor and I just took it off, took it apart, cleaned everything up and put it back together and it worked fine. What happens to them is the comintator gets dirty and the brushes can't make contact. It is pretty easy to do as the only chalange is to get the rear cap back in place with the brushes on the com. Hey, it don't work now, what do you have to lose? I can't see how one of these could ever wear out....they just don't run that much.
