hey fellas had a problem the other day so i decided and wait til the weekend to look at the truck heres the particulars.... i'm do a service so i planned on doin oil, coolant (shes got 92k on her its 04 6.0), fuel filters and look everythin over so this mornin i change the top filter lossen the cap and prime... i'm gettin plenty of fuel. now i'm ready to chang the bottom just waitin on a buddy to bring me a bigger wrench so i take the coolant cap off to look and there's no coolant visible the oil looks fine but then again who knows... also when i turn the key on the check engine light never goes off is this an indication of a problem or does it not go off till the engine is started (i wouldn't think so but i've never paid attention cause she always starts up so i plugged my x3 in and it said no dtc's were found but what can it pull, everythin or jus simpilar codes.... my firsst thought mayb hpop or somethin with the bottom frame filter but i've only got mayb 12k on the filters at most i change them at 10 i've jusst been busy but i use PS DK every tank also could it not start on account of coolant being low i plan to change it today if i can find some do any parts stores carry it anyone able to pick it up at one before or just the dealer..... any thoughts thanks in advance
