Another EDGE question
ok guys got my edge and luv it truck runs like it should have from the factory now for the question to reset the truck back to stock you have to use your edge easy enough what if it was stolen then what would you do could you replace the edge and go again or is this one of those things that you hope never happens just wondering with the xmas trips to the mall.

if this happens, then EDGE can hook you up...... of course, you will have to buy another unit, but EDGE can load the stock program into it before they ship it to you, and your good to go.
but, hopefully you dont have to deal with it. it really sucks that we have to worry about other people stealing/destroying what we have worked for !!!

Yep, thats the trick.
The EDGE doesnt need to be dash mounted to work. You can install the tune and then put the EDGE at home in a safe place. However, it pops in and out of its moulded dash bracket so easily, id just take the unit out and store it in your glove box like you would with the face plate of a car stereo. Or if that isnt secure enough, put it in your pocket and bring it with you.
