B2 idle problem

B2 idle problem
I've got a 90 B2 with 2.9 engine.
When i start the truck cold, the engine fires right up and goes to its normal fast idle....and then after about 10 seconds it just drops the rpms and cuts off and the check engine light comes on. You can keep it running by manually increasing the rpms with the accelerator...and once it warms up a little, it will idle at a low rpm. Once it is warm, i can drive it with no apparent problem. I replaced the TPS but it didn't help.
Anybody know what this problem is?
