Upper shock mount

One day last week i took my truck out to go look at a toolbox for the bed of my truck. While looking for the guys house, i hit a pot hole i the road and heard a pop. After buying the toolbox, stopping to get gas and driving home i took a look to see what the pop was. I drove roughly 10 miles on a bad upper shock mount. My truck is a 95 f150 xl. I went to the ford dealer got a replacement, and got it all back together today. It cost me roughly $125.00 total for everything needed. Seems like the $20.00 toolbox cost me a Lil extra. Pics here

Glad you got it fixed. From your pics it was going to fail anyway so the toolbox still only cost you $20.00. Good luck.

yowza - that was a bit pricey - LMC sells em around $15 and TSC sells the G8 bolts to use for about $3/lb

rule of thumb: if 1 side went, the other side is thinking about it....
