Has anyone ever put injector bungs in the runners of these intakes? I'm thinking of a MPI w/4bbl throttle body. Anyone?

Not that I'm aware of, but if you pull it off "please share" I cant see why any intake couldn't be used for this but maybe someone will shed some light on this/

 

I had to do some searching, but Beemernut mentioned welding bungs on a Streetmaster before they got rediscovered.

I can't remember which one of those threads he mentioned the Streetmaster. I bet if you search the topic, you'll be able to school me on the subject in short-time. LOL

 

Well Bobby I talk to Carl almost daily, and he aint comin back !! He told me a long time ago there were a couple So called FE Builders in here that couldnt find there Azz with both hands....and he got tired of arguing with them..and even tho what they said didnt make since...Site Mgt wouldnt do Chit about them..After many complaints...

So Carl left and moved on...then the Site FTE got ahold of him an asked him back.. And he turned them down and told them where they could put the site !!


But he's been staying busy even with his bad back.. He's still doing his custom fabrication on the side, remodeling one of his house's...and has his Son's Beemer running like a scalded dog !! and still working on his plans for his 482" FE build.... Oh and Last but not least, Building his own garage Brewery !! Its gonna be KILLER when its done !!

I am glad to hear Carl is OK, I do miss his knowledge here. I just wish I had the equipment to do the work that he suggested!!

 

Seconded, and hey lets face it. Wanting certain folks off the face of the earth for your own self preservation is kinda "George Bushish" IMO.. Sorry Carl...

Well Bobby ...Carl is one hell of a fabricator!! and the man can make damn near anything in his shop.. He "IS" a perfectionist !! Bar none... A Damn Sharp and Smart Man ! and a very good Friend of mine!

hHe didnt ask for anyone to be kicked off the site.... He just got tired of lesser thans stating the objections as to what would be the best way of approaching a project..and they would start an arguement about it! and these would be guys that never held a torch, cranked the handle on a Lathe or a vertical mill.. or a brake! and knew nothing about an English wheel?? WTF??

I'am FAR from being the sharpest knife in the drawer...But I can at least set-up my own Machines and crank out parts..and do what needs to be done within limits ...as the shop (Cuz's) isnt set-up for doing any engine work...Its more along the lines of small Proto type work.. And I have limited access to it.. I just cant go in and tear down a set-up on a weekend and redo the set-up so there ready to run come monday! Even tho I could....

But the bottom line is..a few knew how to get under Carl's skin..and they did a very good job of it... we on this site are not supposed to talk about a Jap part! made in japan?? WTF!! or Jewing someone down on a price is off limits too! These are things Carl was called down for...and thats just not right..

Well Carl is missed on this site..and we Lost one HELL of a craftsman and engine builder...and he wasnt just an FE builder either..From Airplane engine's to Briggs & Stratton....Carl had been there and done that !

I'am OFF my Freakin Soap Box Now...because I may get called into the Office for an Azz Whippin now, Stickin up for whats the sam hell is right !
