brake master cyl
I used a master cyl from a 84 ford ranger,with its power booster.for my 54 panel.It has a disk brake conversion on the front and stock drums on the 9 inch in the rear.The guys a master power brake tell me I need bigger cups than the ranger has in the master cyl.will a master cyl from a F150 match the power booster or are they all different.I really hate to mount a new power booster as it would mean changing location on the fire wall.I also had to make the pedal arm longer to get it down where it needed to be {about 4 inches} this gives me a very soft feel,but the brakes work ok.If I move my foot up 4 inches on the arm I have a good hard feel.Any ideals?
