actually ol effie it is a joke . thats the frame from a 55 that i bought for 35 bucks minus the bed . it got parted as it was ATE UP with cancer to the point some panels were taken off by hand . the rear diff just got traded for a 9 inch from a 68 1/2 ton { direct bolt in !! } and that front axle i'm gonna rebuild and put under my 53 then don't know what i'm gonna do with that axle . why ya needing one ? oh yeah she's still together and being abused still ...... just a lot dirtier now thanks to the snow and road salt . 
i'm looking at another 55 that is even worse but has a few trinkets , and my cuz has another dana that i dont think he's using out of his 53 , plus the obvious extra front suspension peices i will / do have .

the crossmembers are coming out next as i need one of them and keeping the others , and making a rear tranny support for that pig of a t-98 four speed in mine out of one rockstone . p.s. like the ford in yer signature !! still trying to talk my buddy out of his kids { he's in colledge and the truck is in dads way and the son isn't doing anything with it } . it's a 74 or 5 reg. cab lifted 4x4 with a 390 , rebuilt , minus wheels and tires for $ 200 . it runs and drives ... chris just keeps saying yes then has a change of heart .......

using the tire hanger maybe , dave .... all depends on wether , after lowering it it will still clear with a tire under there { gonna pull some leaves , 2 inch y hangers and move the front spring mounts up to the top i think }. if not i'll try and remember ya asked . uh huh on the famous last words ... kinda the reason besides the ever evolving plan , that my 55 never got done !!!!!!

naw not lazy jon , how many of 'em , especially a junker like this one was do you see with a spare tire hanger still under it ????????? mine didn't as they put a homemade , kinda , sorta functional hitch / receiver on it so the spare wentt bye bye . just aren't use to 'em and without the grey matter functioning ya wouldn't think about it .

I'm supposed to haul a big old camper out to Ottawa right off I-80 in May for a guy. Maybe by then you will know what you are going to do. As is I will be deadheading back so a little side trip won't be a problem.
