new stuff pt2

well in case anyone is interested I just received my 4" crank to turn my 239 flatmotor into the 255!

Any details such as where from (Keith Lee?), price, any idea of when the Flattie will be built, etc?

pictures: its on my list of things to do like pics for all teh other threads i posted saying im gonna take pics

Its from Bill Boomer, does the same sort of thing as Keith but out of Regina

it was around 350 bucks and i got free shipping

no idea when the motor will be finished still need lots of stuff

im not in a huge hurry to build it anymore. Just found out a month ago that the wife and I are expecting out first child so all the car building is kinda getting pushed to the back burner for a bit. Got my fingers crossed for xmas tho XP. Im just glad my 239 is now a unofficial 255

Of course you know this means sleepless nites.....
Is your truck back to being drivable, at least for next summer?

o ya im not touching the truck itself except putting on a fan shroud. other than that its still runs and drives. the motor is the one i bought from you and im going totinker with it for a bit. Im not in a big hurry to get it all done.

Since it`s drivable and ready for spring that`s great and no need to mess with it till after the family`s settled in and you have more time.
It must start great since the 12 V conversion.

yup as soon as i can find the smaller 12v starter im going to throw that in there and save my battery a little bit. The custom harness is cool , i have soo many futur options for different add ons if i want them

I probably should of had you guy make a couple extras from me too as he went along on your`s if he would have.
At least I have the 1 for the 53 I bought from you, I still would like at least one more for one of the the 56`s.

at about 900 bucks a pop i dunno who would pay for them, well installed and troubleshot too
