I love mine but if you love your fuel mileage better I would stick with your 7.3. Besides that the truck and motor is a quiet animal ready for what ever weight you throw its way.

Take a look at the 6.4 section. I know they're getting crap milage and there's an issue with a wire overheating and possibly causing a fire. There's a pic or two of one that burned up floating around in that forum. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum169/

No wire overheating going on with the 6.4. My mileage is 13-14 city and 16-18 hwy, about 11 towing 10K.

Runs great!
