That's exactly what I want to do someday with prolly a mid fifties style truck; but the 62 looks cool.
Thanks for the post / pic's... Definetly Not seen as a daily ride around my parts...
good lord..thats my home town..thank god I left it *S* if it matters to anyone the local junkyard has a half dozen old buses in it...not so many slicks though.
off hand I couldn't say. However I will ask my brother to get me the phone number for ya...
Called him, he said if it wasn't colder than a witch's tit out he would go look for you, add in the snow thats coming down..the wuss, geez..anyway he'll call me back with it and I'll edit this post with the info.
I have a 68 Ford "Crummy" it was a Forest Service crew truck. It has seats for 13 plus the driver. Looks about the same size as that 62. My wife wants to fix it up to pull our race trailer for the grandkids race cars. With 5 drivers and their parents and my wife and I, we could all go in the same rig.
That is the oddest slick conversion. Another local yard has a couple of tow trucks that would be fun to have. After Sam Fear said it nowit make sence. SHROT BUS, YEAH! Still would be fun.
Sorry, getting off topic but always felt these vintage coaches like the Flxible, Visicoach, Starliner, Clipper, would be great to convert for anyone in market for RV, topic of conversation at all the rest stops. Anyhow, hope this is no indication what rest of my day is going to be like, find waiting for it to warm up can take up majority of the morning.
