Another Manganaflow question

Ok folks, if you read my past posts you know I have be in the market for a Magnaflow muffler, single in single out. I was on the phone yesterday, and can get the either a 22", 24", SI/SO universal maganafow to my door for $83, and a local shop will swap out the stocker, with the new one and add the extra pipe for about $50. I also Inquired about the SI/SO cat back kit witch I can get shiped to my door for $383, which seems cheap to me, and it should take about the same to get it installed, if I wounldn't try it myself. So what to do? the kit will cost me $300 more but it is all stainless, lifetime warrenty, 3" pipe, and a tip, is this worth $300 more? Does anybody have an idea how long before the stock pipes will rust out ( I live in FL. so salt is not an issue) I would lean tward the stainless if I would be replacing pipes in a few years.

your stock pipes will be good for a looooong time. up North...not so much. But unless you live on the beach, or launch a boat in the Ocean regularly...then it's just fine.

save your money. Just get the muffler and tip, and get them welded in.

I aggree. You will save a lot of money by just going to a muffler shop and getting a catback.
