First truck, first Ford - TX
I live in southeast Texas, am 31 years old and finally own my first truck. lol
Bought a 95 Ford f150 (v6) today for 3k. I wanted something pretty simple and fairly easy to work on. Also, needed something to tote my two motorcycles around when I need it.
She's a 5 manual, and I'm really happy with her as of now.

Sure I'll see yall around the forum. First thing I need to look into is a tachometer and possibly a small toolbox for the bed. Oh yea, some decent speakers also. Maybe a small 8" sub and couple speakers to replace the doors. Can't hardly even hear the factory ones.

That's a solid truck and one you can have fun doing mods to it. Replace those speakers and I think you have the I6 motor in that one. A real workhorse of an engine. Look around the site and feel free to post questions or comments in the forums. You can also use the resources of your state chapter: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum96/
I'll check the local out.
Out of curiosity. Fueleconomy website says I should be getting around 14 city and 18 hwy in this truck. I filled up the tank yesterday before leaving houston, I also have my 600cc sport bike in the bed atm (400lbs). Just got off the hwy, trip odometer is reading about 90 miles and the fuel gauge is about half way between 3/4 mark and 1/2 tank.
That sound about right? I think I'll put some gas in the front tank otw home so I can run the rear one out to have a good idea on how that gauge reads.
