Hey guys, My name is Aaron. I've been reading a lot of posts and haven't posted anything yet because I didn't think my truck was worthy. Well I've been doing a lot of work on it and feel like I can finally show it off a little. I drove it down to FL from CO pulling a trailer and it ran great the whole way! I'm not sure if it has 65k or 165k, but I'm guessing no more than 165k. All the fluids were pretty clean and had very little rust just on the fender panel behind the front wheels. I cut that part out and did some fiberglass. I plan on sizing up the tires a little and not sure if I'll stick with the 16.5 rims, but like the white antique look.
Well thanks for reading, here is a pic of my two favorite things.
Don't worry about "if it's worth it"..........as there are more "rusty ol trucks" on here then you think! It doesn't really matter what it looks like as we like them all. Of course pictures with pretty girls in them don't hurt either
Be lucky, my g/f RUNS in the site of a camera. Especially if I could get her to wear a "french maid" outfit.
Thanks for all the replies. I haven't posted enough for a signature, but here are my truck specs UTfball,

Wow! That looks like you just drove it home brand new from the dealership in 1971. Looks like you've done a great job!
Two classic All American Beauties.
A tip of the hat to you Sir!
I am looking at the 16" swap myself right now. I'd really like to run Michelans. I'm trying to find out if the later model (up to '97) 16" steel wheels will accept the stock pre '73 hubcaps. Lots of great tires available in 16". Also I am trying to figure out if there is a difference in wheels based on lug size (1/2" or 9/16"). In another post, a guy was talking about having the late model Ford F250 aluminum wheels machined and metal inserts installed, to change from 170mm to 6.5". Now that would really be cool, if it is cost effective.
Thanks guys, that really makes me feel good hearing you say that. I also really enjoy/enjoyed working on her. This was my first and now I can't stop looking at old trucks.
