Front end rebuild - any tips?
My 88 f250 HD 4x4 has over 150,000 miles and the front end is worn out. i am sure all rubber parts need replacing as well as the front leafs. I need to start planning the job of rebuilding the front end and collecting parts. I would like some suggestions and helpful hints on where to start and what to do "while i am at it" or "while you have it apart do this...." I don't want to take anyhting apart more than once so i would like to do it all in one big job. Also, any suggestions on polyurethane or aftermarket parts over stock ones? like a beefier sway bar? The truck is used for hauling/farm chores and daily driver. smooth ride with good handling appreciated. Oh yeah the front end is the IFS.
