Hey Robert, Good evening back to you, you are going to be home for xmas aren't you?? Karen has to go to Work xmas day, but will be home xmas eve, we are going to her familys gtg, and then we are going to Texas to see my family on the 28th, so we are gonna be busy busy!
Glad I don't work at the grocery store anymore!! Anytime the weather man said snow or sleet it would become a mad house! Even though it was 70 degrees the day before and there was no chance of anything sticking, much less staying on the ground over a day! It used to drive me crazy!!!
One of my co-workers has family down in Baton Rouge, and she just got a picture from down there. I said, if it would have snowed like that here we'd be off today!!! Dam it! LOL
I almost got stranded in Chalmette this morning. NOPD was setting up the road block to stop traffic @ the "GREEN BRIDGE" when I went thru. I had snow covering my windsheild wipers when I left the job. I took HWY 90 back to Slidell, did not want to get close to I-10. Made it home in about 45 min. I looked liked it never snowed by the lake. Hope everybody is OK
It's on it's way out.. Already melting... just nasty slush now. Kids sure had fun for a few hours though. First time for my daughter to see snow falling. She's 12.
Man o Man it's been coiming down here in Kentwood, woke up at 7:00 and the ground was covered, I've been here 15 years and this is the 1st time we really had snow to speak of. it's kinda slushy now and most verything here in town is closed up. Here are a couple shots from abpout 8 :00am
