84 250HD suspension Question
got some questions for ya. I have a 84 F-250 HD, 2x. The front end is making some creaks, and the front end is sagging pretty good. I need to know what I need to replace on the front end. I 'm sure the bushings on the radius arms? Need to be replaced....the two bars going from the front TTB? steering assembly back under the cab? I think those are radius arms...I hope...:P
Another question. What can I do to the front end to get it level with the back. The truck has a 460 w/4speed manual. I've looked for some springs to replace the old ones, but no luck.I keep running into the problem that the weight of the block makes the coils sag? Is there a fix for it to beef it up? Can I run a coil spacer underneith the spring in order to get the front up? and if so where can I get some? The truck has 112,000 miles on it, and the only thing I have replaced so far is the front Tie-rod that was bad...any advice you have for me would be greatly appreciated. Things to look at or things to look out for..
Another question: Does anyone make a lift kit for this truck. I just want some clearence for tires, not really function. And I don't really want to go with a body lift. I don't even know if they make a body lift for this year.
a 3' lift would be great? BUT WHO MAKES IT?
Thanks again for any help
