Morning Pat. Mike, Carl, NJ Steve, Ken, NY George, Jonathan and all others that drop by today.
I was not able to get on earlier because I was busy chasing our 6 month old puppy around trying to get a urine sample. It looks like she has another bladder infection so I will be off to the vets this afternoon with her.

Well, Daisy is a bassett hound and when she is in postion to take a pee, her underside is about 2" above the ground. Kinda difficult to get a container under there to collect it directly and if I could, the look that she would give me would be "woah.... what the heck are you doing????" It is just easier to follow her around with the turkey baster and suck it up aff of the tile or hardwood floor, then clean the rest up.
George, no carpets except for an occassional throw rug. Last year (spring 2007) we had to replace the carpet in our bedroom after we had some water damage from melting snow and ice due to the roof being improperly installed when we built the house. We replaced it with hardwood to match the rest of the first floor. Much easier to maintain and to clean up accidents that the dogs may have.
