maybe the big three can car pool to D.C. in a toyota mini van and tell congress this is what you will be driving if we don't get help.

Nuke, where do you live in Nebraska? Probably should ask you this in the Nebraska chapter, but i saw you post here earlier. I lived in Millard(West Omaha) for a couple of years and went to College out in Lincoln.

You know I'm not part of the UAW but I am part of Machinist's and Aerospace workers union. The thing is the companies always want us to give on our end. And they continue to make huge amounts of money. It never seems to be a give give relashinship. It's alway's the workers that sacrifice there income.

well to have people making $31 an hour just sitting in a room is crazy...and second why are factory workers making $31 an hour anyways? that is just crazy!

and the big 3 are not making any amount of money right now.

Haha, yeah i know, I went to school there, love em, and hate em relationship i got going. Football team has been hurting for a few years now, lol.

Because that is what the company agreed to pay them after negotiating a contract with them.

You have to consider the amount of time and education these people have vested in there career. Your not going to find the average worker making that amount of money.

The big 3 are hurting now. But how many years did they rake in all that cash.

Ok factor in a house payment. Car payment. Health insurance. House bills. Auto repairs. Fuel cost. And god forbid you want some money in your pocket. One's you add it all up, $31.00 an hour doesn't go very far.
