Theres is now power going to the actuator on the T-case has anyone had this problem? The dash light dosent come on either. Anyone know what fuse it is ?
Look under the hood on the drivers side. THere is a small relay box that houses two relays for the 4x actuator. I had one of the terminals back out out so it wasnt making contact with the relay. I had the exact same symptoms as your describing. Thats the first place I would check.
Theres 4 relays under the hood any idea which one it is? Where can I get a wiring diagram? Some one told me that its common for the switch to go on the lariat editions, I dont understand how the switches would be any different has anyone heard of this?
If your seeing 4 relays then your not in the right spot. Look on the INNER fender ahead of where your seeing the 4 relays and you will see a small blak box, take the cover off it will house the 2 4x4 relays. No the switch is NO different from lariat to a base model. Read my post from before, check the connections in the relax box, thats where my problem was.
Well theres no power going to the switch either, What im looking at is two boxes one has 2 realys the other has one with 2 smaller ones in it not sure if its realys or what. I bought one new realy and tried it on all 3 of the spots they all have the same part number. But there is still no 4x4. Im clue less now I dont know what else it could be.
My manual lists them but the number on the list does not show up on the location diagram.
I have 3 boxes under the hood on the drivers side.
1 big one with a butt load of fuses and 3 big/3 small relays
2 small ones, each has 2 one inch cube relays, all 4 the same part number.
I played misical fuses with all except the smaller fuses in the big box.
Anyone know if I swapped the ESOF/Transfer case motor relays or not???
The motor still does not turn.
