Cant start after washing engine,help!
Hi,guys!Today I clean engine my Ford Ranger 1991,after washing its start without any problem,but after a couple minutes running its die.Now cant start engine.Please help. (when washing the engine was not covering).Thanks.

You provided so few details it sounds like a teasing joke. Does it turn over or just fail to fire? I'll assume for this that fuel pressure should be fine, but just in case, try pressing the relief valve on the fuel rail which is a Schraeder just like a tire valve. Still, the single-most common cause is no spark after washing. Distributor cap & spark wires.

Its most likely water, if you have any sun, let it sit in the sun. And or blow dry air on the high voltage items, coils, spark plug and coil wires. If your model has a distribiture blow any water of it. And next time cover these items with plastic wrap and tape, and dont get them wet.

I'll periodically wash the engine while it's idling to make sure it's ready for rough weather. As well as keeping it well-cared for. Another thing you can do is spray down some of that with wd40, one of the few uses I like it for, to see if that solves the problem. If it's bad spark wires, try Napa for no nonsense & low cost wires. I got a fair set for my 3.0L on sale for under $20. Right bank overly long but they work well at least.
