leaf spring bushing installation

I'm doing the mounts for the rear leaf springs on a 1995 Ranger, and the rear spring bushings are toast. (The fronts likely are too, Ihaven't gotten that far yet.)
I got the old bushings out and cleaned up the eyes. The replacement bushings, Moog SB340, are just slightly too large to press into the eye. I thought the eye might open slightly when I started pressing the bushing in, but no luck. It started to damage the outer shell on the bushing. The difference is about 1/16". Any thoughts?

I stuck the bushings in the freezer overnight, but it didn't make enough difference to mention.

Pretty sure. Every part number I can find on the Web crosses right back to the Moog SB340 number. Of course, the real parts stores are closed today.
I have to go to the dealer tomorrow for the front spring brackets, so I'll see what they have.

In the mean time, I redid the brake lines to the rear and replaced the shocks. It's just too easy with the bed off.

Wee, I found out that there are, indeed, different size bushings at each end of the springs. All of the aftermarket listings show the same part front and rear, they will only fit the front eyes.

I got all of the parts from Ford, 2 bushings and one tube per end, all separate. The front "kits" were about $35 each and the rear "kits" about $28. That smarted a bit, but they will fit and the job will be done right.
