Dashboard Lights
Trying to replace several burnt out dash board light bulbs. Have had everything tore apart twice now and cannot figure out how to remove headlight switch assembly in order to get at ONE molding bolt to the left of the steering wheel so that the final gage/speedometer assembly attachment bolt can be accessed.
Is the a trick to removing headlight switch assembly?
Thanks in advance for any advice

disconnect the battery...turn the headlamp switch to the headlamp on position and pull on the ****.
You'll see a small hole in the ***** mounting shaft..use a pick or small screwdriver and insert it into the hole, that will allow you to remove the ****.
Turn the **** 180% and put the **** back on the switch shaft.
Turn the **** counterclockwise untill the back of the **** is in the off postion.
Then turn the **** clockwise, the switch will sort of pop away from the dash and can be removed at this point by disconnecting the electrical harness(s).
Be aware most of the bulbs will be #194's and #37's. BUT some will be ????-13B765-?? numbers (bulb and mounting base as a one peice assembly) which are Ford only.
Good Luck.
