I was wondering if anyone out there knew or could get the measurements of the rear cab mount (the one with the arm). I took mine off of the frame and was going to clean them and I think they inadverently got put in the metal pile to be recycled. I am hoping i can find them, but I think I will have to fab up a set. Unless someone knows where I might be able to find a set (nothing on EBay at the moment). Thanks for the help.
I think I used the wrong terminology. I am not looking for the arm itself. I am looking for the the bracket that attaches to the frame that the arm bolts to. It looks somewhat shaped like the letter "D". If I remember correctly, it was not welded/riveted to the frame, but attached with a bolt to the frame. The catalogs I looked at (LMC, Dennis Carpenter, Macs) did not have them listed. Dennis Capenter did have a picture of it with the arm installed. Sorry for the wrong wording. If anyone knows where I can get these brackets, or if someone can get measurements so I can fab a set up, that would be great. Thanks.
Oh those! That sucks. Someone here may have a spare set off a old frame.Could try the classified section under wanted.I could take a pic of mine and email it to you. There is a guy about 2 hours from me that may have a set.He ships his stuff all over Canada and the US.
Max, Thanks for the suggestion. I looked at their online catalog and they actually have them. They also have an adjustable mount. It looks like it does away with the arm. Next question, are the brackets for 53-56 trucks the same as 51 trucks? It looks the same, but I can't quite tell. Does anybody know?
