i need some advice, i have the 94 f150 xlt 4x2 with the chrome package, i love the rims all chrome best part of the truck, i dont want to get rid of them. im going to get the levelers and 3 inch body lift i have been planning to get the 33x10.5 so that they would fit the 5x7 rim i have, will this look stupid? im not going to do much offroading so i dont need performance more concerned about looks
I think a set of 32 by 11.5s might be better. I wanted 33 by 12.5s but they wouldn't fit on my rims (to cheap to get new ones) so i got 32 by 11.5s instead. Alil less in the wheel well but wider, more meaty. Just a suggestion.
Primary rig is:

3 spd column shifter baby.
The newest addition to the Ford family is a 99' Mustang GT 4.6L
First thing I would do is measure the backspacing on your rims. If its decent enough (around 3.5") then you would be able to fit 32x11.5's most likely. I had 15 x 7" rims with a 4" backspacing on my F150 4x4 and 31x10.5's rubbed. I hope this helps and Good Luck
you can run a 14.5 on an 8" rim and be ok just adjust you air pressure of the tires so they aren't dome shaped on top and you're useing all the tread pattern. I have 14.5 on my 8" rims and no rubbing problems or anything and they are great off-road when I deflate them alittle for rocks and sand. you can even mount a 12.5 on a 7" rim and still be fine again just adjust your air pressure for the tread wear
i just realized that my rims were 15x7.5 and not 15x7 haha, big deal, but i still cant make that decision, 33x10.5's or 32x11.5's, anybody heard of wheel spacers? give me the scoop, also on the size of tires i should get
I have chrome rims off a mid 90's F150 and when i bought the truck it had some beat Cooper 33-12.5's on it. They looked good on the truck but with no lift they rubbed when i turned. I think that the rims i have are only 15x7" rims, and the 33's fit nice. I have since put 31's on though. Check my gallery for PIC's
yeah i think im going to stay away from 12.5's because of my rims, but 10.5 is the next size i can go to i just wanna know if its going ot look stupid? i saw some lt285/75r16 bfg allterrainn ko's i know the bfg 33x10.5s are a litte bit skinnier but is it noticeable compared to the 285's
okay i think ive made my decision, 32x11.5's. definately going to get the leveling kit, i think they will fit then but will a 3 inch body lift make the truck look cooler?
your stock suspension will fit 32 x 11.50 's on stock rim-
i wouldn't mess with your suspension or body unless your
willing to drop some cash- good luck
yeah do you know how much that leveling kit costs? I have no idea how to do it so im going to get this offroad place to do it, i think ill get the tires mounted and the leveling and see where im at, if it doesnt look good to be ill drop 350 down for a 3 inch body and gap guards, i like the be high off the ground, thats the whole point, you know what im saying?
i have a 81 f150 currently with a 4" lift and 33 12.5s
i used to have a 2.5" lift but it wasent big enough for wheeling
i put it on and it was $300 new and i couldetn get the camber right or the caster $300 down the hole i then put $1200 in a new lift and install
12.5s will not fit on a 7" rim or a 7.5" rim they will but you will realy regret it when you get premature where or a beed off the rim. They will fit if you go with a 35 or bigger but not 33s bad idea
if you have any ideas ive gone through it all excecially with these S@$ty dana 44 ibeams
