Not necesarely. This morning i woke up to drive my truck to the car wash to spruse it all up for the guests.. vaccuum and a clean wash.. ive got all my quarters together in my ash tray and ready to go.. I pull out onto the main road into town.. Im about 2 miles down the road going about 55.. I come around a blind turn and a deer jumps out of the ditch into my passenger side door.. my window shatters and sprays me down glass, and my mirror comes through the cab and takes out my ash tray full of quarters.. i get out to check the damage..
1. totally trashed door (new door needed)
2. Shattered window (new window)
3. Slightly bent where the door and bed meet.
4. I lost like 10 quarters out the window
Im ok, just a few scratches from the glass.. And thank god for insurance..
The truck is fine though.. Im so glad it didnt hit the front.. thats asking for alot more..
And I was upset I did not see any today for the first time this hunting season.....at least it is an easy fiI would search yards for same color door.....then you would have a few extra $$ for mods from the insurance).Hope the rest of the day goes better.
Had a dog (very large) do that once to me. He was chasing something and plowed into passenger door. Major damage to the door. Owner threatened to sue me for his dog hitting my vehicle. Needless to say after I was done with him (verbally) he backed down big time. Last I heard the dog did survive.
