Wheel size and leveling question
Howdy all, just bought an 05 screw 4x4 and I love it. I read on here once that the smallest rim size that will fit this truck is 17", is that correct? I'd like to go with 16 or maybe even 15 because I like the look of less wheel and more tire. I'd also like to do a leveling kit (2" or 2.5") for now with the stock wheel/tire combo (235/75/17), will this look odd? Anyone with pics of a leveled screw with stock wheels? I dont have pictures yet, but I installed the Hell Bent Steel 2.5" leveling kit and it looks great. Not to extreme at all; It just takes the nose down look out of it. Currently I am running stock 255/70/17's on aftermarket wheels, and it looks fine.

I have my truck leveled with the 2.5" kit. With my stocker 275/65/18 tires...it's sorta funny looking. I have roughly 8" of clearance between the tire and fender flares. pretty big gap.
I'm cool with this because I will be running a 35" tire in the near future.

I have the 3 inch front leveling kit then put in an add a leaf. Truck looks nice now. 17 are as small as you can go for rims. I have 33/12.5/17 mickey thompson baja mtz on classic II rims. It looked real good but I took them off for the winter and got my stock tires and rims on it looks funny. I will try to get some pics of the stock tires and rims with the leveling kit but here is the ones with my 33's on it. But this is what the cv shafts look like. I have heard they arent good but I also have heard that it isnt that bad. I havent had a problem yet been on since august and used 4 wheel drive a few times even in a truck pull. http://
