Suggestions? Injector related.
Tonight/tomorrow, I am going to be doing the return lines. Got some #111 o rings, clear fuel line, and will get some copper washers when I can pull one out. I plan on pulling the fuel supply lines (IP to injectors) to soak them in condenser acid, and get some of the surface rust off. I also would like to test/clean/repair/upgrade the injectors w/out replacing them (if not needed).
My questions are:
-What is a good way to clean the internals of the injector? Or should I just soak them, and run some fuel additive afterwards? I do not suspect and of them not being up to par.
-When you see advertised "Rebuilt Injectors", what is done to the injector to "rebuild it"? What is the difference between an old used one in perfect shape, and a freshly rebuilt one. I figured I'd ask sense ill have them all out. Does anyone have a detailed diagram of this injector.
Thanks guys. This is a very informative forum.
If your sure yours do not work...... you could get them checked and pop off reset if the spray pattern is good.......... $$$$$$$$ for either could be the same as new purchase.
