need help on side molding
so to take off the side molding all i need is fishing line and bam it comes off?
what is the best way to get the stuff left behind from taking off the side molding pieces

A 3M Stripe Off Wheel (see link below for example) works great for getting off the double sided molding tape with out damaging the paint/finish...

Yup fishing line works great. I used a bondo spreader to take off the majority of the residue. Then wiped it with goo gone and used the spreader kinda like an ice scraper to scrape off the residue.
