I have a 1994 f-150 XLT extended cab, 351 auto tranny, 3.55 i'm getting new tires, I also pull a 25ft wilderness light 5th wheel, no off road stuff....whats a goot tire, I currently have dueller A/T to rough...
thinking abot BFG or goodyear any advice woulf be hepful....thanks
like the other two posters, i just put on michelin ltx m/s. did mucho research prior and they come highly rated. i like them. they do not have a very aggressive look though but they are quiet and handle well under load and on street. you could step up to an AT for a little better off-road and agressive look.
I can't say anything bad about Michelin since I've never owned a set, but I'll say this. My father recently got a set of 31x10.50 Goodyears, AT-S I think, on his 94 F-150 extended cab and they are very quiet, balanced easily, and ride good. I think they have a 50,000 mile warranty so that can't hurt either.

Recently talked to a Michelin rep (a trucker), who recommended the LTX
M/S "commercial." He stated that this is the best tire as a replacement
for the standard M/S. This is a tougher/safer tire for SRW users.
