77 front end questions
me and a buddy are looking at buying a 77 ford reg cab short box, 429 4x4. iy has a 4 speed standard in it. the guy said he was going threw a cross ditch and ****ed the drive train infront of the transfer

Just the driveshaft, cake.......but if he hit the front hard enough to damage the driveshaft other damage should be fairly obvious (bent frame, track bar, axle, etc). Look harder before deciding to make a purchase.
