Ok, another question, sorry guys. I advised in a previous post that I have a hard shift 2nd to 3rd. I have been watching my rpm's and have noticed when it shifts the rpm's drop like 400, pause and the drop another 3-400 hundred. ??? Is it trying to lock the torque convertor? Ideas? Thx
Your drops are not that bad..At what speed are you noticing this, and how hard you standing on it.. When I see that drop I am about 50 mph regular throttle, it gives me the first drop, then the second, almost 800 rpm lost. My trans was just rebuilt..

The "dual shift" is normal... first the TC locks, RPMs drop, then the trans shifts.

Ok, so the "hard shifting" I am experiencing isn't shifting it the TC locking? So, is that a sign I am losing my TC? By replacing it will I get the smooth "shifting" that I am looking for?
