It must be that I'm not scrunching down/up enough to see it. Thank you for the drawing from the EFI engine--apparently it's the same as the carbed version (which makes sense, of course--guess I wasn't lookin' hard enough). I'll try again when I'm better able to.

I could not see, or reach my sending unit from the top.
Laying under the truck and looking up got me a glimpse, and with a streatch, I could reach it well enough to change it.

That makes me feel better. I was thinking about going from underneath, but the cat is in the way--still, I think you're right--I'll probably at least get a glimpse of it that way.
