rear diff gasket

I've been to a couple different auto stores and no one lists a rear diff gasket for my '01 Screw. What gives? Just silicone the sucker?

You do not want to put a ton on there. If you do it will hang down on the outside of the diff and can get pulled out which will unseat the seal. Just use a nice consistent line all the way around and make sure it is oil resistant RTV.

Motorcraft TA-32 is what you want to use. It's the "Clear Silicone Rubber", it sets in around an hour and never leaks.
