Strange electrical problem, need advice...
I had a firestorm tailgate light bar installed on my truck about 6 months ago. At first it didn't come on when with the headlights or parking lights. Only when i stepped on the brake or used the turn signals. I was ok with this because when we installed it we didn't use the transistor the provided which, if installed, was supposed to make the light come on when the headlights or parking lights were on... but NOW the light stays on ALL THE TIME! Even when i shut the truck off and take the keys out and for the life of me cannot figure out why! I am no expert electrician but have no idea what else could be causing the light to constantly stay on??? Please, please help this is frustrating the h*ll out of me!!!!!!!

Sounds like its shorted to power somehwere causing a complete circuit and allowing the light to be lit all the time. I would disconnect it and trace all the wires back to the light unit and then reconnect it if no problems are found. I dont have any experience with these types of lights but thats what i come up with.
