[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-Apr-02 AT 08:06 PM (EST)]I have been considering changing my worn out BFG all terrains 35 12.5 16's for a more aggressive tire. I've considered Super Swamper TSL and SSR radials, as well as Mickey Thomson Baja Claws, but i've heard both good and bad things about them. But as far as Goodyear Wranglers go I haven't heard or seen very many of them. From what i've read in mags and so on they are a tough, aggressive tire that wears very good. Any info or suggestions on tires would be great.
I have a friend you runs MT/Rs and he loves them. I haven't read or heard anything bad about them, but they are too expensive for me. I guess if you were considering the SSR then you are willing to pay that much since they are in the same price range. I say get a set and let us know what you think.

The 4x mags say they are a good tire with little to no complaints. I run the Explorer Pro comp m/t's and love them , they were 120 a piece and have a 70,000 mile wear warranty on them. I haven't hit any deep swamps yet with them but they seem to do great in everything else. My buddy who is stationed out in Cali, says they do pretty good on sand. Do I plan on trying out as many types of terrain as possible and reporting back on them..yes, so far rock=good, mud=great, clay=great, wet rock= fair, still trying to find a small pond or a swamp though.
I ust got my MT/Rs today, 315.75r 16. I love them, ive only had them for like 10 miles but can tell aready im going to be happy, they have the baja look almost to hem, not as agressive granted but good for the price. Im thinking i spent my money well this time.
