gryphon installed, first thoughts
I got it put in just before dark. super easy install, excepted for takeing off the stupied Ford side pannel, Had to pull, and pry, and was scaired to break it. Programing is easy and quick, with no issues. I put it on the canned level 2 with no custom opitions. I couldn't wait to try it, so I took it around the block. I was impressed. normal driving was smooth, and my butt could feel the extra ponies. The throltel was more responceave, (big plus) Then I opened it up and all I can say is wow, it is a different truck. The stock intake really sucks hard (you can here it alot more) You can hit the gas and it comes to life at any speed. I did notice a rattle under the hood when I first got on it and I let off the gas and it stoped and I didn't here it again. and it had been awhile scence, I have got on it. I do feel my gas milage is going to drop for a while do to increased pressure on the skinny pedel in the cab
. I am going to have to put an the maganaflow now, I just have to figure out what leanth of SISI to get. I can't wait to get my custom tunes. Bottom line if you are thinking about a tuner go for it. and If you are trying to decided between the Edge and the Gryphon, I can tell you it is a no brainer, PHP customer service is great, the product is great, and all the extra goodies in the box, let you know they really care about their customers. I ask alot of questions on this forum and wanted to give some info back, so here is my 0.2 cents on the Gryphon Will keep you updated. The addiction has began..........
BTW, Johnny... you're the first customer to mention all the little "goodies" that I put in the box. We do that because it's just always fun to find something extra when you don't expect it!

Thanks again!
