Good Buy?

I found a guy in Surry County with an early '80's Bronco he was going to restore; but lost interest and is parting out parts he bought for the truck and the truck it self. I already bought the "Complete Interior" from him. (Any one want some free Bronco Interior parts?). While I was in the Bronco getting the dash; he had a front bumper with the impact strips, plus a push bar mounted to it with "FORD" stamped in it. asking $100.00 for it? Sounds good to me but did '85 pick-ups ever have push bar options?

Are you buying the pushbar and bumper to sell or to keep? They did make the factory push bar on our trucks but you dont see it very much. If you are selling the pushbar let me know, Im interested in buying it from you if you would sell it. PM me if you are.
Thanks,
Blake

Hey Kenworthfan; I don't know weather I want it or not. Should I buy it and resell to you, would you be in the area to drive / pick-up or would shipping be needed. Shipping it would be about $100.00 alone.

I wouldn't be able to pick it up since Im in Indiana, and I never even thought of the shipping costs. If you dont want it, I still might be interested, as long as you would ship it. Please send me a few pictures of it if you would decide to sell it.
Thanks,
Blake

Other then taking the bar off the bumper, it's one peice. Even just that alone is probably like $80.00 or something. I dont have it because I don't have the money my self to get (Christmas ex....) so I can't give a accurate cost. I am thinking though, I may put it on my truck..

I Got It!

Sorry for digging up an old post, but I need to find Kenworthfan again and I dont know how else to do so.

I bought the gaurd from the guy, I am putting it on my truck to take some pictures so you can see what it looks like, and i'll take some with it off the truck to. If you want me to, I may be able to take a picture of your truck and paste it on (Size and fit, stretch/skew, ect..) so you can see what you would see after bolting it on. I still haven't looked hard, but I did see places where it does come apart, let you know about that tomorrow.

Are you still interested in trading for the tailgate insert?

I think we may be within US Mail limits, but I'm not sure... Let me know. Thanks.

Hey, yea I would still be interested in it. I would like to see a few pictures of it first, you dont need to edit it onto my truck unless you want to though. If you want you can just email me the pictures at honda-250-rider@hotmail.com, I have pictures in my gallery of the tailgate piece on my truck, it is the one with letters, the one without is the old one from my truck when I got it.

Here is the one that ozark1 refinished in red. They are pretty rare.

They do come apart, but it may take drilling the 4 allen head screws out to do it. They usually rust solid, but it's worth a shot.

BTW Jerry: I'm still looking for those map pockets for you. I just haven't found a real nice set yet. You know I'm picky.....

use search bar I guess to see my truck with it, or go to myspace (route95south) and look under "1985 Project Truck" for the bar pictures on the truck.

I'm not sure who Jerry is, but if he is interested, I have a set of dark red pockets from an '85 Bronco (same F-series). I got them with a complete interior package for $200.00, and all I wanted was the dash pad and radio bezel. So if he wants them, I would let them go on ebay (unknow value?) and he could get them that way. I think there was a set on there the other day... And if you need true Bronco interior parts (Won't fit on pick-up) let me know now 'cause I just threw away a lot of stuff in the dumpster at work. Probably ask for the money to ship them to you.

(PS: Where did Jerry get the clear fender lamps at? I only saw the turn signals clear in LMC Trucks catalogs. I want a set.)
