4x4 swap

It's an F250 lwb like my 66, it has a 390 backed by a c6.
I am planning on doing a frame swap I would really like to keep my T-18,
I like being able to shift my own gears instead of aiming my truck in ever
which direction
.(
know I'm gonna catch some for that)What will it take to keep my T-18? anything extra?
Also I know that the cab will switch over pretty well.
And that the bed will need some creative engineering,
But I know that picking the brains around here keeps my truck running.
Thanks!
The 4th digit of the VIN is the engine code.
1975: Only two engines were available: 300 I-6 (B), or the 360 2V (Y).
On sale day, 360 engines magically become 390's.
The only way to tell what size the engine is without tearing it down, is by measuring the stroke.
360 = 3.50" / 390 = 3.78"
I have found over the years these ol Fords can shift their own gears pretty reliably.

Thanks ND, I've learned that from personal experience;
We had a 71 f250 we thought had a 390 that turned out to be a 360, It was my gramps truck
that he bought used in 76. What a salesman will say for a quick buck is sad.
I've asked the po and they said they did a transplant about 5 years ago, so thats how I know.
I was still wondering how would I connect my T18 to the transfer case?
Or would i need to hunt the pnp for another t-18 or np435?
My 65 is this way as well.
