03 expedition XLT base nav question

the OEM nav touchscreen radio unit...can it be directly put in my 03 XLT base directly or is modification required. im mainly more into the toucscreen part of it, not too much the nav but if nav works im all for it.

different wiring harnesses. it's not plug and play. there are far better a/m sources anyway. i had the oem, and it is a night and day difference between that pos and the eclipse avn-5510 i have installed now.
