Hello Everyone! - PA

I am happy to join and share info about my ride. I have a 2008 F-150 Lariat painted black with a 5.4 Triton motor. I bought it last December so It'll be a year the 29 of December. Since I purchased it , I only made one upgrade sofar. I added a OEM Navigation unit which I got via Ebay from a nice guy in Fla. It works perfectly and I use it often both the Nav and Mp3 cd's. It also has Sirius. I've been watching for a good price on a backup camera and rearview mirror with display but I've been undecided as to which way to go. That is, to mod the nav unit or get a mirror with a display. This week I got lucky and bought a OEM camera which is on the Ford oval logo for the tailgate and the OEM inside mirror which has the display. I also got this on Ebay from a good guy in NC. Now I'm trying to figure out the best way to install it. He provided me with a sheet with some pin numbers for the mirror display but I still need to gather as much info as possible. I'm not one for having someone else do it. I like installing stuff myself. If there's anyone out there who can share some install tips about it I'd certainly appreciate it. First, I've noticed that there's no siocket for the camera plug under the tailgate. Do I have to buy a harness for the length of the truck? There's one with a 14334 number but I do0n't know what it is yet. Any help?

In my search for the first step to install the rear Ford oval logo camera in the tailgate, I am trying to identify Part 1L2Z-14334-VA. It is a wire harness but is it for the installation of the camera only? Does anyone know?
