Motor Dusted

I bought an 05 f350 last year and had head gaskets replaced in July.I put banks intake and exhaust on before head gaskets blew. Now the truck has excessive crank case pressure.Ford suspects dirt ingestion to be the problem and says the filter caused the problem even though their mechanic forgot to tighten a clamp which caused the air intake boot to come off while on the highway.Ford says that I have to foot the bill for the repairs.New short block and turbo needed.I got a print out from dealer showing all the past repairs and found out the truck had the heads done before, egr, egr cooler, ficm, injectors, and removed pan to clean debri.Anyone have any suggestions.I feel like I'm getting screwed by Ford.

You were screwed by believing the hype from Banks....the original air filter system (if you have the 6.0 diesel) is the best there is ..... if you are not going to mod it to real hign horsepower ratings (over 500). You are NOT being screwed by Ford "IF" the engine really IS dusted. For confirmation, take it to an independant or another Ford dealer!
